2nd Youth-hosted Gala Dinner
The 1920s will come roaring in to Bethany Hall in style on Feb. 16 when the youth conduct their second Gala Dinner to raise money to go on a mission trip next summer.
Fine food will interlace with the frolicking fun of a murder-mystery whodunit. Pittsburgh's own Mystery's Most Wanted, which describes itself as participatory theater at its funniest, will present "Mobsters, Molls & Marinara" with a 1920s gangster theme.
Guests will be treated to a mouthwatering meal prepared by Professional Chef Richard Petrelli served by members of the church youth group.
The elegant evening gets underway at 4:30 with appetizers passed among the crowd. Fine dining begins at 5:30 with salad and breadsticks. Guests are invited to choose between Beef Tips with gravy or Chicken Francaise. The main dish will come with a sumptuous side, roasted garlic green beans and a dessert of chocolate mousse with homemade strawberry preserves.
Cost for a full evening of entertainment is $25 per person.
Reservations can be made with Cindy Daniels in the church office (724-846-4739) from Jan. 2 through Feb. 1. When making reservations, please specify which main dish each participant prefers.
Seating is limited to 150 people, so don't wait too long. You and your family and friends don't want to miss out on a night to remember, which will help the youth pay for their mission trip to Prince George, VA, in July 2019.
Come one, come all ... It'll be a night to die for!
When: February 16th; 4:30pm
